Help Haven Fight Heart Disease

February has been American Heart Month since 1963. Heart disease is our Nation’s No. 1 killer taking the life of 1 women per minute. More women die from heart disease than the next 4 leading causes of death, including all forms of cancer. 90 percent of women have one or more risk factors for developing heart disease.

But there is something we can do to help. We can choose to Go Red and put an end to heart disease and the number of women that are affected or loose their lives because of it.

Haven supports the mission of the American Heart Association and invites you to join our effort to raise awareness and funds that help create life saving research.

Friday, February 3 is National Wear Red Day. We will be wearing red at Haven and Going Red in other ways.

Watch Fox 11 Friday morning at 7:45 am while Kaela from Haven shares her story as a survivor.  Kaela survived a stroke and heart surgery at 19 years old. Following Kaela’s story Haven will show you how to Go Red! We will demonstrate the red lip craze: how to wear red lipstick, when to wear it, and what to wear it with.

Schedule a Go Red Make-up Application for Friday, February 3 and 50% of the service charge will be donated to the American Heart Association.

Help Haven fight heart disease and support your mother, daughter, sister, friend, and yourself!
